The Gerald Bridle and Saddle Club shall bring together good sportsmanship and to promote better horsemanship. Our members strive to bring about a better understanding between man and beast. We teach cooperation and organization in clean competition in the horse ring and in the field.
The club at times will assist and encourage civic activities within our community.
We are a not-for-profit organization that adheres to approved by-laws. We have an executive committee which includes a president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer. All elected officers serve a one year term with the exception of board members which serve two year terms.
The annual election of officers is completed at the monthly meeting in October. Officers elected in October shall take office at the close of the October meeting. Members 18 years and above are eligible to vote or hold an office.
Membership fee for a family is $20. Family memberships include all children up til they are 18. Individual memberships are $10. Membership dues are good for 1 year beginning January 1st of each calendar year.
Members are obligated to encourage other members to dedicate themselves to the purpose of the club. Any member found guilty of mistreating animals will lose membership to the club. Any member drinking to excessiveness at a club activity will lose their membership. The executive committee will be the final judge in these cases, but, any member may make a complaint to the club as a whole, to the executive committee, or to the club officers.

Come on out and enjoy the horseman's life with the members of the Gerald Bridle and Saddle Club of Gerald, Missouri. The club has a wonderful equestrian arena located in the Gerald City Park at the end of Bittersweet Drive. Our shows are open to the public and we encourage horseman and horse lovers alike to come on out.
